Every academic discipline possesses a "code of conduct," a set of ethical and professional standards that governs the professional behavior of its scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students. Although there are many similarities among disciplinary codes, there are also subtle differences. As a social science student and aspiring professional, you need to understand the code of conduct that governs your discipline. This module contains links to statements of professional standards that guide academic and professional practice in the social science disciplines.
