UMUC Student Clubs Student academic clubs and professional organizations offer a forum for meeting students with similar interests, asking questions of faculty or staff in your field of study, and discussing related topics. All UMUC students are eligible to join student clubs. Clubs of particular interest to social science majors are BEHS 900 (social sciences and gerontology) and PSYC 900 (psychology).

UMUC Honor Societies Honor societies are national organizations that celebrate the scholarship and leadership of students in specific fields of study. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to enrich the UMUC community, attend regional and national conferences, and meet scholars and leaders from other universities. Pi Gamma Mu (social sciences); Psi Chi (psychology); and Sigma Phi Omega (gerontology) are of special significance to social science students.
